In the fourth quarter of 2023, the top five carpooling and ridesharing apps on the iOS platform in Denmark exhibited diverse trends in downloads and weekly active users. Here's a closer look at their performance based on Sensor Tower data.

Uber - Request a ride experienced fluctuations in downloads, peaking at approximately 2.7K in mid-October before declining to around 1.0K in mid-December. Weekly active users saw a peak of around 78.9K in mid-October, with a slight dip and recovery, ending the quarter at approximately 75.4K.

Bolt: Request a Ride had a steady start with downloads, peaking at about 2.2K in mid-October, followed by a decline to around 0.9K in mid-December. Weekly active users also saw a peak of approximately 6.3K in mid-October, gradually declining to around 4.9K by the end of December.

Uber - Driver: Drive & Deliver saw its downloads peak at around 373 in mid-October, with a notable dip and slight recovery to about 269 by the end of December. Weekly active users increased from approximately 3.8K at the start of the quarter to around 4.1K by the end of December.

Lyft downloads were relatively low throughout the quarter, peaking at around 392 in early October but dropping to about 25 by the end of December. Weekly active users followed a similar trend, peaking at approximately 2.3K in early October and declining to about 1.6K by the end of December.

Careem – rides, food & more had minimal downloads, peaking at about 70 in late November. Weekly active users started at approximately 303 at the beginning of the quarter, experienced a dip, and ended at around 227 by the end of December.
